Drowning treesI watched the trees drown today. Watch them grasp at the evening skies between the breaks in the waves. I couldnt help but feel a kinship with the trees. Reaching out, waiting, wandering. Nothing but time and restraints holding me in place. The waves keep crashing. The hopeless trees cant be seen any more. Slipped beneath the oceans surface. I sit on the shoreline all the whilst, Pondering the complexity of being born again with each low tide. Suffering a, tormented, drowning death when the tide rolls in. A victim of time and circumstance I suppose. Unlike the treesDrowning trees
